This film was about a crime that stunned me.
This was a crime that led me to read the court transcripts.
This film was well acted.
This film gave "Paula" and "Ricky" a pass.
Shame

This film is one great big blatant reference to the BTK killer (Dennis Rader) and is pretty good. It's only really let down by the ending, which stretches belief beyond breaking point in order to come up with a reasonably happy outcome. Other than that I'd highly recommend it, even if you know about the BTK crimes.
A truly awful movie. Bad script and bad acting should make this film a total waste of time. Except...
1) It's really quite amusing. I'm sure the filmmakers never intended this, but it's so bad it's pretty good. The Three Kings stood out in this context. They were as frightening as The Three Stooges and just made me titter instead of quiver. They give evil a bad rep.
2) The camerawork wasn't too bad.
3) I watched it for free on Amazon Prime. If I'd paid for this I'd be angry. Angrier than The Three Kings (which isn't saying much).
