Did you ever start watching a new series and did not like some of the characters; yet, the writing and situations the cast is put into keep your interest. Then along the way you start to really like the characters and actors. That is this show. It is written so well and the production is nothing like I have ever seen on tv. The acting is great and the actors grow into these parts. The whole show must be a lot of work. I am amazed in each episode. I admit that somewhere along the way I became fully invested and was brought to tears. There is an added benefit in that there are three Chicago programs that on occasion overlap which is quite fun. Most dangerous situations are resolved within an episode and last a comfortable amount of time.
