I've been watching everything Simon Cowl has ever done in the U. S. since the first season of American Idol. There were times I really disliked him on idol, but I believe he's mellowed while on America's Got Talent. I've not always agreed with him either and I didn't always agree with him while watching this- but for the most part I did. Example of disagreeing without spoilers is how many people made it into the band, although I understood why he did what he did. I did disagree with at least one boy he cut and one that stayed. I actually binge watched this in its entirety last night. So yes, I enjoyed it.
Putting together a new boy band is a huge risk. K-POP dominates the field these days and it's been a while since the days of One Direction. I hope it works for Simon and for the boys.
Other than that, we see Simon at two homes in America and one in Britain. The rich really do live differently. Gorgeous homes and furnishing abound. Chauffeured cars and being served meals. Pretty unreal.

His last special wasn't a winner for me and this one was even less so. Everything pertained to sex. Or he twisted it that way. He managed to made fun of religions and other cultures while asking questions about them. One man in the crowd told about taking boy scouts camping in the summer and he practically called the man a predator. He made a big thing out of it. I felt sorry for the man.
I think it's safe to say that the man was embarrassed so badly, he'll never get over it. He's using the crowd to have someone to make fun of which I understand is his crowd work.
I realize it's a comedy show, but I think he went too far this time. It's sad because I used to really think he was funny.

Ed Sheeran meets New York City during this Netflix special. There's music and fun set ups to feature his music throughout-including a marriage proposal, a birthday party, the top of a tour bus with other tourists and on the subway. Through it all, he was quite personable with everyone he met or just walked next to-I don't know how they did all this without fans getting out of hand, but they seemed to have managed it. However they did it, I loved it and as I'm a big fan of his, loved him as well.
