No spoilers here, best part about this film is that it's short and to the point. Has a lot of nonsensical moments but the overall plot is intriguing. What didn't make much sense was how nobody around the central character did anything to point out how bad her situation was until it was too late.
Die hard fan of the original Power, watched both seasons of Power Book 2 Ghost and watched first 3 episodes of Force but like the predecessor it's just not new or entertaining when one character moves on and everyone else is gone. The main reason Tommy was so good was he had Ghost by his side but now it's like okay predictable series ahead.. I'll keep watching but just as a loyal power original fan, no longer a die hard.
The excitement I got waiting to midnight on a Saturday to watch Power was no longer there once book 2 began.. sure everything must come to an end but why a spin-off with Tariq? This show was very tough to watch, maybe if power never existed this could rate a 6/10 but to be a spin off this was a tough watch. Like other reviews, I question how this was green lit ... almost reminds me of episode 12 of season 6 when they did a whole show on Paz (most useless character on power). Tariq isn't a good actor, he's too young and doesn't have that appeal to lure viewers, I hope the other spin offs are better.
