I'd like to start with the concept. The entire show gives you of the 90's nostalgia. While it had a brilliant start and the characters were rather interesting. They slowly deviated their show after about 6 episodes to a rather downhill motion.
I actually loved the character of Haley Tju on the show, sadly, as nicely the character was built up, was suddenly put up on the side. I don't think she even played a part of the show after a few episodes. And i kind of went on a binge watching spree for her charcater, as it was fun, and rather chilled out.
I fear the show would rather run out of ideas or get cancelled sooner of later, unless they don't ramp up the script and include the characters properly.
For a show which gives the 90's nostalgia with a 21st century essence.. i sure hope they do that.
I did not come to IMDb before I went to see the movie, because I know how big of a critic people can be. But, now that I saw 5.8, I was horrified. And went on to see what the reviews were all about. TMZ? really? I mean, I LOVE DOGS. But wherever PETA sets their foot, they tend to put in such a bad view of everything (NEVER SEE THEIR ADS) There is NOTHING wrong with the movie. Nor do I plan on spoiling any part. But once you do watch the movie, you would understand how less do the PETA people really know about dogs.
Coming to the movie, It is a delight. It got a wee bit predictable at certain places, but none the less anything otherwise than that would have made me sad.
It is HIGHLY recommended for those who maybe planning on getting a dog. Perhaps a kid with no siblings. I do wish some open areas were covered (you would notice that on your own when you watch it) But despite all this, it would be just unfair to give this movie a BIG OL' 10. The acting was terrific. And the voice over of the dog was bold and excellent. Kudos to Josh Gad!
I would highly recommend this movie. P.s It's a bit weird to cry when you're 23 and a guy xD But hey, some movies do that eh.
