The first episode was compelling, setting the scene for what should have built into a quality Mini Series.
Unfortunately, the first episode was the peak.
There were unnecessary side tracks and plot lines that lacked depth An awful lot of glimpses of what could have been if they had committed to the story.
Instead, to me, it looks as though the story writers got bored and wanted to end it as soon as possible.
Several of the polt lines could have developed more and certainly the characters deserved more depth.
To be fair the actors did a fine job with what they had to work with.
I can see why it's popular but I won't be watching it again.

The same failings as Season One, they spreading themselves too thin. There are too many storylines on the go and nk depth to any of them.
The acting is average, wooden almost with stilted delivery of the dialogue.
The Half-Foot characters are terrible, I find them very annoying and almost childish.
It is astonishing that Amazon are investing so much money and time, about eighteen months between seasons in such a poorly written show.
The scenery effects are decent, although not much different to the Skyrim game which is over ten years old.
House of the Dragon is showing what can be done with good plotting znd acting.
