What a way to finish the mind-blowing S7 of game changer. I cant believe they keep topping this show with every new season. I don't know how they do it but they do.
This was one of the best finales they have ever done. The cast is perfect, the stakes feel high, the political satire is hilarious and the crowd is absolutely awesome. Every cameo and every bit in the episode felt earned, funny and climactic. I can't wait to watch this season all over again. Thank you Sam Reich and all the crew for creating masterpiece after masterpiece.

"Lie detector" is beautiful which, for a first episode, surprisingly shows a lot of what game changer is and will slowly evolve into. We get some absolutely iconic Brennan moments here, and jess and Tao are great too. I find the whole shoplifting sequence very memorable for tao´s unflinching honesty at committing crimes haha. The twist is brilliant and well executed. It just proves that from the very begining, game changer never messed around. It proved itself to be a very different kind of game show that value vulnerability, wacky comedy and messing with Brennan.

In hindsight, standup comedy makes so much sense for game changer. For such an ambitious show its almost crazy we've gone 7 seasons without a standup episode. But crowd control was everything I could have hoped for and just absolute perfection in every way. The guests play off the crowd, Sam and each other in really creative ways. Each contestant brings a different comedic style that keeps the episode fresh and interesting.
As the title suggests, this episode couldn't work without a good crowd which is why it's great that they were all interesting and funny. Theres honestly not much else to say. This is just an episode that works. I was laughing for the whole 40 minutes and I cant wait to rewatch it. This season of game changer is going to go down as one of the greatest seasons of comedic television ever made...until season 8 dethrones it of course...
