The opening line by Gil Grissom: "There are too many forensics shows on TV." was very amusing. But it was pretty much the end of my enjoyment of this episode. It must have seemed like a clever idea on the part of the creators to have an intrusive TV crew following the CSI workers about, but I found it as annoying as I expect Gil and company clearly found it to be. There was a lot of interference with the investigation by the TV crew, some of which stood a good chance of compromising the actual investigation. The story itself was a really good one, and the episode would have been more enjoyable to me to me, without this unnecessary twist.
