I am really enjoying the second season especially. I don't get the gate. Of course it was going to change. Yes it was a bit jarring to start but the new and old characters have developed very nicely and it feels like the "flow" is getting better and better and I'm enjoying the variety with all the new characters. I think they have stayed true to the old characters personalities and I'm loving carrie's romantic trajectory in S2. It has always been silly fun with some heartfelt earnestness and it sticks with that. I would encourage fans who didn't love the first season to stick it out to be able to enjoy S2! Yes Samantha is not there but life is full of changes! Let yourselves enjoy it and don't take everything so seriously!
I thought this was delightful. I laughed a bunch of times, the action sequences were exciting and I enjoyed seeing the different locations and how clever it seems for the action sequence design. I loved the music and scenery and I liked the variety of characters! I don't know what people are complaining about, people just love to complain. It felt like a fun and clever, classic action adventure and it was not predictable, so had us enjoying it throughout. Nice to have a change from beefed up super heroes! And great to see Harrison Ford again on screen. I liked Phoebe in the main actress role, I thought she and Harrison bounced off one another well!
I'm surprised with the low ratings. Yes there was ambiguity but such is the nature of life. I thought it was a lovely ode to love of various forms alongside addressing issues of racial hate and mental illness.
I can only think the poor scorers prefer to be spoon fed singular plot lines as whatever comments about thinking story lines were half baked don't understand the bittersweet nature of real life.
Beautifully shot and great character acting. Lovely story of people in different types of adversity connecting and boosting one another up, forgiveness and compassion, plus some hope but not too schmaltzy or in your face. Full of tenderness and just a beautiful quiet gem.
