This movie seriously sucked. Watching with a large group of people made me feel embarrassed because I was the one who picked out this disappointment. They didn't enter the amazon until I guess 35 minutes into the movie. Fake blood. Poor special effects. Confusing ending. No tension. And I didn't even care about the characters well being, all weren't that likable. The movie was boring and no one was even slightly intrigued.
It was super interesting, then the story became so flat and boring. I seriously could not even get myself to finish the last episode. The characters lives aren't rooted in reality, and are completely unrelatable. Very difficult to connect with the characters later on in the season. The plot is so vague, unrealistic and bland. Also, looking at the lolies in the show isn't even worth it, the beginning was too creepy, and the end was so bland. All of the tense sexual scenes dilluted my feelings and I regret watching this.
It's was actually a good movie. The beginning was kinda of slow but expected. I'd watch the movie again just to see the visual effects. Such realistic death scenes, very gory and pretty cool. You can tell a lot of effort was put into making this film. As well as all the twists and turns, they're well thought out and all make sense. People are offended by the main character being white, but it is an American remake, they could've chosen a Japanese American but idk.
