Rating it poorly due to Vidhu Vinod Chopra's victim shaming and appalling treatment of an audience member who is also a massacre survivor.

A brilliant take on a tragic incident and the revenge extracted by the Indian army. This movie is sleek, sans the typical bollywood masala/potpourri. Screenplay is very well executed. Kudos to the actors (even the child artists) for essaying their role to perfection. Efforts to replicate the mannerisms of real life characters, adds to the touch of believability. Brilliant background score!
