I think everyone is really curious as to how Shanaya Kapoor's acting was in her debut film. Surprisingly, it was not as bad as most debuts. That could be because her character is an unconventional role for many new actresses and their debut roles.
With that said, the story is also different and unconventional and while it could be seen as refreshing in a good way, the script writing let it down. The script did not create a story that allowed the flow and depth to be as strong as it could be. There are a few confusing parts; like why would a character want this? Why did they do the things they did? Some of the dialogue in the second half with the conflict could've been better too. And the build up of the romance could've also been stronger with a better script.
The cinematography, production, and songs lived up to a Bollywood movie. It was beautifully shot, and choosing a location like Mussorie helped the aesthetic of this romantic story.

This movie didn't disappoint when it came to the fighting scenes, action sequences, and weaponry. The movie carried the John Wick theme throughout the film. Some of the action towards the end was straight up fire, pun intended.
The lead actors and supporting cast all performed satisfactory to keep the story and movie engaging. The story is not any different than the previous John Wick movies - seeking vengeance. But it was still refreshing to see a female protagonist with the ballerina mix. I wish they showed some of those scenes a bit more; a slower build up from childhood to present, but I could also see why they chose to not milk it as much.
There were some plot holes that could've been tidied up so that the film had the complete package with a bow, but overall it was an entertaining watch that carries the John Wick universe well.

As the title suggests, don't expect the same feelings you had when watching Taare Zameen Par because, honestly that's not the angle or the category of this movie.
This movie was light-hearted majority of the time, with a lot of comedic scenes, and characters who were all great in their own way. While the story does center around disabled individuals, it does not harp down on the fact that they are disabled; nor was that ever the point.
It's a family-friendly movie and is meant to be entertaining while also teaching a lesson. And I genuinely think the messaging was executed perfectly. Any shortcomings would be on the Aamir's main character development - I felt as though it was not built as strong as it could have been. Otherwise, the movie was great in all the other ways!
