I just wanted to leave this review because I think this is one of those movies which is just one of a kind and one of the very few that I really enjoyed watching. Ryan Gosling with another "literally me" performance. But honestly, he delivers it yet again. And what can I say about Emma Stone, totally amazing from both casts.
Never thought I'd enjoy a musical this much in this way. I don't have more words that I can find right now, maybe I'm not articulate with my words.
I hope one day I come back to write a proper review because I definitely will be re-watching it.
A great example of a Great Film!

Enjoyed every bit of this piece of cinema, may be I'm biased here because I was already a great admirer of Marcus Aurelius, but even thought, this film is great in its own ways. Besides its not all that much about Marcus. This movie had everything, from the storyline, to the acting performance, cinematography, soundtracks, costumes, effects and the action. I'm not overly into action movies but this is a damn good action movie, if you want to call it so. But this was so much more. Been a while since I watched a great movie that I will be thinking about for a long time.
Absolute cinema with a great story.

Watched this mainly because of all the "Literally me" memes, lol. And thankfully, Ryan Gosling's performance didn't disappoint.
The opening scene was great and it built up my expectations, but as the movie went on, the momentum slowed down, and like some people might have felt, I found the script and acting boring (not from Ryan Gosling though; he was consistent in his performance throughout the movie). If I have to point out, it was almost towards the last half-hour mark where it went a little south. I still don't know how I feel about the ending though-not saying it wasn't fitting or bad, but it could have been different or more of what it was.
Overall, it is a decent watch regarding the storyline, but as always, Ryan Gosling does an amazing job being the mysterious driver. The cinematography was great, the scenes were shot very well, and the look of the movie was excellent, obviously with the soundtrack. Can't say when I'll be watching it again.
