Wow. After thoroughly enjoying the first 7 episodes, this was painful to watch.
I thought this was a comedy.
This episode made me cringe pretty much throughout the entire episode.
One stupid scene after another.
Scenes with characters acting so completely out and of character it makes one wonder what the writer(s) were thinking. IF they were thinking.
If this is a permanent shift (from comedy to soap opera), I will be so disappointed (and won't continue watching).
The buildup of Midge's character over the first 7 episodes and we get THIS? Everything we thought about her just thrown out the window to follow some ridiculous storyline. Where is this going?
If I were watching this alone, I would have skipped to the next episode or just watched something else. Which, of course, made it even more painful because I was forced to watch the episode in it's entirety.
Please make it stop.
Please tell me this is a one-off issue.
Please do yourself a favor and skip this episode.

Was it awful? No.
Is it worth paying to see? No.
Is it worth watching? Probably, but be sure you turn on the subtitles. Having seen it in the theater, we would surely have enjoyed the film more had we not missed a good portion of the dialogue. That aspect was very disappointing.
You've probably seen other reviews that the film fails to capture the impact Bob Marley had on people around the world. This reviews are correct.
Some of the flashbacks were well done, while others left us scratching our heads.
Quite a few scenes simply included the Wailers sitting around talking. Others included them jogging. I'm not sure how those scenes really contributed to anything.
Another issue: The film ended quite abruptly!
Personally, I feel "Bohemian Rhapsody" provided a solid blueprint for a film documenting a legendary musician/band. Whomever was responsible for this film apparently don't agree.
Sadly, a fair portion of the film was just boring.
Let's end on a positive note:
Personally, I thought the two leads were superb!
Kingsley Ben-Adir beautifully personified Bob Marley (including his body movements on stage!) I realize the Academy is a mess, but a nomination for Best Actor should be automatic.
Also, I'm glad they mentioned that his toe injury was due to cancer and not a football accident.
