I looked forword to amsterdam because well Ill be honest it was the cast that drew me to this, but I also like conspiracy movies to. This film starts off good as taylor swift gets burt, played by christian bale to examine her fathers body as signs of murder. He along with david and robbie somehow get thrown into this whole ride and whist its nice I think this films loses itself half way though. It could have been shortened and have a better outcome becuase in the end it was not worth it. I liked it though and cast were well done.
The witch was a good surprise and an enjoyable thriller action film. We start in a hospital and some bad people are after a young girl that has escaped we then skip ten years to see Ja yoon, played by the wonderful Kim Da-mi and those same people are after her. Cant give to much away but we get some cool gory action that was very well made. Its a nicely directed film and visually stunning in certain areas. Overall a good first movie.
Jack quaid plays nate, I think his fine here and fits well into an action hero. He was born with not being able to feel pain and so its used as a fun plot device that I got some laughs out of and the stunts were good. Im happy amber midthunder is getting more work because she has good range and I want to see her more. Interesting premise that was done well. Some elements could be better but I enjoyed it for what it was.
