The overall story is a pretty basic "will they, won't they" that rides on the stereotype of drug-addicted rockstars. The protagonists aren't likable characters, but that's part of the appeal for me; if they were likable, then they wouldn't make the mistakes they make, and we wouldn't have a sad, dramatic story.
The music is alright -- some bits that I really like, but most sound way too repetitive, unfortunately. The acting is fantasic, making the characters truly seem like they are experiencing these complex, emotional situations.
I wish that the other band members were given more attention, rather than almost exclusively Billy and Daisy. Billy barely talked to any other band member, including his own brother, which makes it all feel less believable.
Nonetheless, I really enjoyed binging it, even despite its flaws.

I enjoyed this movie because it focuses on the characters and describes their motivations by showing their past -- you learn a little bit about each of them because of these events.
I always love movies like this, where it's not constant action. I do think that it falls short near the end though. When it does decide to pull that action card out, it does so in a way that is cinematic and thrilling, conflicting with the rest of the movie. It was far too drawn out and uninteresting.
Overall, it's a nice idea that borrows the good elements of other fantastic movies -- but then it adds bad twists.

I've been watching all of the animated DC movies in release order, and I've enjoyed watching all of them. That being said, this is definitely the worst so far.
There are some great jokes that got me, and I did enjoy a few of the scenes. However, the main plot just isn't great -- teamming up with Harley Quinn is a neat idea, but using it with such a boring "end of the world" plot is meh. There's no Batman in the "Batman and Harley Quinn" that's really needed. It's actually just "The friendship of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy."
It really could have been better if it wasn't a movie about the friendship of two villains.
