I watched an episode of this show. It is not very convincing and feels rather dated. Like an old afternoon cop show. But without any nostalgia or charm.
The humour is lame and unsophisticated. The performances are lacklustre. The writing has no zip.
I have seen shows in which characters are wooden, but they are wooden in a natural way which is mirrored real life. Here some of the acting is the wrong kind of wooden.

I quite liked the enthusiasm of some, but not all, of the actors, but we stopped watching after 20 minutes as the writing had nothing engaging about it and this made it an un-enjoyable watch.
It is a shame that there are so very few good romantic comedies and so very many average and below par ones.
