I think so many of us are hooked because we like to imagine what it would be like if zoids are real, being a pilot of our very own mechanical beast while at the same time feeling like a pet. There are thousands of types of zoids, some mass produced, some are one of a kind, but all are special to their pilots. There are flying, swimming, and ground types also.
