Your typical rom com but just badly done!
The music never made sense. The name of the movie never made sense even though they mention Frank Sinatra. Why not have Sinatra sing it had to be you and that to be the theme song for the movie?
The woman did not appear feminine and I found it hard to believe that anyone would leave their fiancé for her. Her clothes, hair, face, made her look so manly. Even more unbelievable was anyone leaving their fiancé after knowing/interacting with a stranger that they bumped into or had to share a utensil appointment with and all this within a few days. He too was dressed so ugly. Kind of like they tried to make them both look unattractive.
I have so many questions.
What teacher do you know whose salary permits them to stay in the plaza hotel in NYC? Why is she in a hotel if she lives in NYC?
Why is he staying in the hotel if he lives in the Hamptons. What is it like a 2 hour drive from the city? Probably much shorter if you take the train. Why did they both wait until the last minute to make all those arrangements for their wedding? (What band, the priest, pick out silverware, linen etc).. How can they make those decisions alone excluding their fiancé's preferences?
Why are all these rom coms the same where everything is happening in an expensive hotel where everyone is at your service. Central Park is always shown and Tavern on the Green, a horse and carriage ride (not in this movie), expensive restaurants, meeting the One and living happily after?
Anyway back to the movie. How did they get from take a break from choosing which utensil pattern to I think I'm in love with him. I thought I missed a part. I was thinking did they kiss or sleep together and I missed it? Did they at some point show any emotions or was there a deep connection between them?
I tried to like this movie but just couldn't.
The main characters looked so wrong together. Same goes for their best friends. They were miscast too with just as bad of a storyline.
I wish i had a policeman come and try to save me from watching this movie.

This movie was moving on all sides. I enjoyed watching it. It was nice and the age of the characters or my age didn't matter. The issues would be the same and would hit home at any stage of our lives.
An updated, modernized version of she's all that. Not sure why the bad reviews. I happened to enjoy this light hearted teenage movie. Loved it!
I really enjoyed this movie. Yes your typical girly movie. Very sweet and kind of predictable but am ok with that. It's a feel good movie. I just loved it so much!!! Scenery and the music was excellent and a pleasure to listen to. I liked every character!!
I am glad I didn't listen to the rotten tomatoes score where a zero was given. I truly Enjoyed this movie. It made me feel all sorts of ways. I laughed, cried and just felt whatever the characters felt. It's set up is in a hospital with interns but it's story line is more about friendship and love in many forms.
Note to self...never go by ratings. Find out for yourself or you may miss out on a great movie!!

If you love Columbo, a night at the Roxbury, airplane, the pink panther, anchorman, the naked gun, you'll love this movie. It's cute, funny, with a little romance, and a lot of family love.
I enjoyed seeing Chris Kattan being the lead actor. I love anything he's in and love his ability to act super silly and also be serious when need to.
The movie was packed with the typical scenarios yet I enjoyed watching it unfold, as the storyline kept me on my toes. The star studded cast, the dialogue and action, made this one of my favorite movies. I am in shock at the low rating.
I highly recommend this movie!!

I really enjoy watching this show and seeing the end result of what great staging and great renovation can do to a home and its value. I feel bad for the brothers having to put up with demanding people that live in not so great places, are messy and suddenly become pushy, threatening, are lazy and want it all but complain about the price. They also act like it's the brothers fault for the sudden extra expenses when their roof needs to be replaced or there's asbestos etc. They also have to put up with the family's pets and kids and they manage to do it with a smile by including the kids and making them feel important .
I think Jonathan and Drew are doing a exceptional job at making each family's house look great, sell at top value and find a better place that fits the family's needs for the right price.....and always within the promised time. I can't get enough of this show!!

Came across this show by mistake and am so glad I did. As a New Yorker, I find shows about the south fascinating because everyone is so different. Yet, when it comes to good family values, love for one another, everyday family issues and of course laughs....it's universal, regardless of where you are from! I am hooked on this show. Just binged on about 10 shows in one day so far.
