  • Unique show, Jason Segal stretches and shows us his creative talent

The commercials for the show looked intriguing, so I watched the first episode. In the following weeks I got confused about the reality or alternate reality being depicted. Coming to the end of the season, and not understanding too much better, I got annoyed: I don't like movies or TV that make me feel stupid. I don't think the finale answered any questions, but in a weird way, explained the whole show. The show reminds me in a way of Dali, Kubrick and Lynch, Joyce and Faulkner, all of whose work have made me feel less than intelligent. On the other hand they, like Segal, provide thought-provoking material for us to ponder and into which we can inject meaning.

The last 15 minutes of the finale sum up the whole show, the point of the show, and the beauty of it.

  • Two half movies doesn't equal one whole movie
