I was just scrolling through the list of movies and shows on my TV when this strange poster and even a stranger title"Banshee" (which I have never heard) came-up. After reading the synopsis I gave it a try and boy was I up for a ride of pure action, suspense & a great story.

I have completed the 1st season and I was thinking of the main lead cast "Antony Starr" that I have seen him somewhere, that is when my nephew said that this guy is the "Homelander" and yes there it was.

I love "The Boys" series and watched it twice. But I got to say that Antony here was just in contrast to the Homelander and that too in a very good way. His acting was just super here. I mean no offence to his Homelander character (which he portrayed astonishingly well) but in Banshee he was just plain cool.

I am yet to start with season 2 but after reading the reviews I am certain to get a full dose of satisfaction.

I think it is one of the last movies of Irfan Khan if not the last. His acting as always has been par excellence. The story itself is all heart-touching and confusing at time. If you are not a Rajhistani then don't watch it without the sub-titles or you'll get lost.

The love the passion the quest and above all the emotions portrayed are beyond words. It is well directed and very well acted by all the actors.

The life of rural desert people is indeed very hard yet very simple. People living in the city will be astonished by the simple ways and day-to-day life portrayed in this movie. Surely we live in a world which has so many places yet to be explored.

This is a one very well written and of course very well acted by the actors, especially Kareena made it look so easy with her exceptional acting skills.

The ups and downs made me stick to it and I watched it with my family. One of the very few films you can watch in one go. One thing I did not like though was the ending. The ending left many questions unanswered.

We need more thrillers like this with no so much budget but with a solid story and cinematography. The director here has done a wonderful job.

Overall it was a nice and decent watch keeping in the the films that are coming out now a days. I think Indian cinema should focus more on these lines.
