The Peter Pan / Hybrid aspect of this show absolutely kills it dead. Who cares about conflicted machines in and ALIEN show. Terrible writing, bad acting, bad plot lines. It is truly embarrassing that they thought Alien fans would care for this rubbish. 4 stars for being nice to look at occasionally and a few moments of tension.

This epsiode honestly reminded me of the good old days. It was weird and hilarious for all the right reasons. As someone who's barely laughed at these last few seasons and thinking it was just a case of me growing old, having a worse sense of humour, this episode felt like a classic. Genuinely funny, try to avoid all images / promo for this ep.

How can a piece of media with such a high budget, have so much poor editing (sound and visual). There's no sense of location and direction in the battle scenes, it's just the camera whirling around while the elves spin and slash like beyblades. The pacing was absolutely terrible. I don't know if it was just me, but the editing during Elrond's charge against the orcs was so poor it was making me laugh. The background orcs were terrible too, only slightly worse than the orcs in the foreground tbh. So much unnecessary snarling and growling.

Sauron and Celebrimbor's scenes were good enough to hold this episode together. Everything outside of that was seriously poor.
