  • Exceeded Expectations

The story kept me glued. But what excited me the most was all the beautiful work the array of artists did to tell a story thru the set, make up, costumes and creature designers. Contrast in dank set compared to the brighter costumes and wigs. Glad I binged it because may have confused some characters if I had to wait a week between episodes. If my husband wants to watch it I will be right there next to him taking in the beauty of this series.

  • Witches in Maine

I have had this on my watch list for a long time because I love witch stories. If it hadn't been set in my home state I would have turned it off within the first 15 minutes. But I was intrigued at how "Maine" the film could be. I recognized company names on trucks, small independent stores featured, and parts of beautiful southern Maine. So I thank the director for using Vacationland for the stories location. As for the films story, not bad, and was holding my interest up until the last 15 min. Why did the end have to be so damn predictable? It was like ideas and time ran out so the ending was pushed. Overall, it was a quirky mild horror that if you have an hour and a half to spare you should watch.
