For me all the female work well, its the 2 males that can't act and are not remotely funny. Which as one is the creator and lead thats a problem. If we get series 2 kill off the males just stick with the females.
I loved this show, was never into the original it couldn't hold my attention. this on the other hand did. great cast, well acted.
To address criticism in other reviews, if you listen carefully you will hear parts of the original theme tune in the opening music, as for the accents is that really an issue. i thinks its good that they actors are a mix of British and European. i look forward to a second series
fast paced and original show, the first few weeks of up and down quality. After that it got better, and better. i know that some of the science they use is, stuff that is predicted rather than existing right here and now. So not what i would class as sci-fi, but future tech. The characters have grown and you really feel for them. the Humour counts for a lot of why i like the show, if it was uber serious and po- faced it wouldn't work. There is a 'Murder She Wrote' vibe in some episodes, in that they turn up somewhere and something that only they can solve happens. if you want something that is just fun to watch, and has likable people you route for then give this show a chance.
