What a wonderful film! I get so tired of seeing women standing on the sidelines while their partners are beating up the bad guys. I don't know any woman who would do that. Suhana protected her husband and defended herself. She was both strong and compassionate which made for a well-rounded character. Karthic was at first a hesitant partner and then he became as strong as Suhana. Both were very believable because they were multi-demensionable.

Their relationship was believable and shows how in any marriage there is always something new to learn about the other person. This is a comedy and action movie combined and was pure joy to watch!

Hope to see more characters like this on the screen.

Both Thompson and Kaling made this an enjoyable film. Loved to see 2 female leads that were not stereotypical but complex characters. The addition of Lithgow/Thompson relationship made Thompson's character more interesting. The script could have been tighter but all in all it was a very good way to spend an evening.

So hard to watch and so relatable for many women and/or minorities regardless of the area in which you work...
