"Infernal Affairs" takes itself way too seriously. The music is like a sledgehammer during those "serious" scenes. "Infernal Affairs" could have been a pretty good police thriller if they just told a police thriller and left out of the high mindedness. The movie does wrap things up in a satisfying way but that doesn't take away all of the dead spots in the movie. "Infernal Affairs" is an okay watch that I probably won't bother with again.
When I sat down to watch "Christmas Twister" I was expecting a goofy "Sharknado" type movie. "Christmas Twister" isn't like that at all. It's a straight forward tornado disaster movie. Sure, the special effects aren't the greatest but the rest of the movie was well done. The cast does a nice job. The women are good looking and the guys are likeable. The movie has almost nothing to do with Christmas but whatever.
My favorite part of "Being Eddie" was when a stupid hat wearing Hall of Fame ass-kisser/professional friend Arsenio Hall tells us how Eddie Murphy played the nerd in "Bowfinger" without make-up and then we're shown a clip from the movie and Murphy is wearing fake glasses, a wig, a fake moustache and fake braces on his teeth. I don't think Arsenio Hall ever saw "Bowfinger.
