Diamond Dogs delivers exactly what the tiny budget suggests: a straightforward, no-frills crime drama. The plot has a few twists, and some of the dialogue lands. It's not groundbreaking cinema, and some acting feels a bit stiff, but for a quick, low-stakes watch, it passes the time. Don't expect Ocean's Eleven.
At this point i don't even know what to say. Me and my house mate have watched every single haunted film ever released, we started watching them in january and just finished this one. All i can tell any future viewers of Haunted is that everytime we put one on we are left questioning just simply WHY did we watch this. Yet somehow... we can never stop. At this point i feel like we are in too deep to give up, therefore the likelihood of us watching any future haunted films is pretty high, luckily for JPG, Chris, and Stephen. Anyways in this film there's a LOT of beef between the cast and crew (standard for a haunted film) i appreciate the referrals back to the last films ghosts however became increasingly disappointed when this lead absolutely no where and they ended up having about 10 names for random ghosts and no proof to back it up. The chair part was pretty cool until chris was (once again) irritable and had to go and knock them all down, annoying everybody as usual. Don't watch this. You probably won't anyways but just don't.
Sam Mason Bell's masterpiece certainly packs a punch to this gripping horror. Cast was brilliant and the editing was great!
I hope to see more work from this director.
