Before this came out the write up sounded like an interesting concept. Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors and Robert Zemeckis has done some great stuff. However, in all honesty this was one of the most boring, discombobulated movies I've ever seen. I sat through all of it out of respect and hope that maybe there would be some redeeming qualities that would make me feel better about spending my time trying to stay awake through the whole thing. Admittedly it was interesting to see Tom Hanks young again so kudos to the makeup department. But both the writing and acting were very weak. I'm sorry to have to leave such a poor review on this one but just being honest. A rating of 4 is being generous.
