Caught this show on Netflix. Almost turned it off at the start cause I thought it was a movie. Glad I did not. Towards the end it was a full on documentary.
Could have done away with the long shots and singing in between. Definitely a must watch documentary. The flow of the show is ok where you get the back story a little bit. But like I said, the acting part felt unnecessarily long.
I love the interviews with the old timers and hearing them speak about their experience. But the bigger picture here is how the government overhauled the education system and put the country light years ahead of their ASEAN neighbours.

The show was fast paced with focus on subject matter. Although dragged to few episodes but it was ok as the focus was on the fbi and the mob and the lawyers. Thank God we didn't have to hear what the lawyers did when they were young etc.. lots of archival footage, audios and pictures. Overall entertaining.
..for not making it into few part series.. Although it could have been alittl more shorter than it was. Still a very enjoyable watch. Will definitely recommend people to watch it has its quite the drama.
