  • So surprised In a good way

So I am happy with this next season. unfortunetly a lot of people are not. Sean W Scott is awesome though. He got a part and ran with it. Good for him. The Writers really went to town making the change and the backstory really flow with his character. I fear that this is the end of it however due to the overwhelming disappointment others feel. Ill watch it until the end. You should too.

  • Surpised me

This was like I said a surprise. I kept an open mind and I am very glad I did. When I watched the first episode my brain wanted more. I give most TV shows around 3 episodes to really make me want to watch it. And to be honest ill keep watching. Key things to know. This is not "Teen" Titans. This, to me is a retelling of some characters that we have already heard and seen. Think of this as if you are learning the stories all over again. I tend not to judge acting skill and effects on a series premiere because as most of you know lots of shows get much better in those departments with time. (re-watch Season 1 episode 1 of Super Natural for prof of this :) What can we say about the story as it has shown us so far. Well Raven/Rachel is our center piece, as it should be. Her damaged background mixed with our seasoned caped crusader is a good mix. I like it. Both are well developed and have solid motives for their actions. Now on to our starfire. Our huge controversy they say. Honestly not an issue for me and shouldn't be for you either. The mix up on this character is a welcomed one in my eyes. I like this kick but version. Yes the "I woke up and can't remember anything" is kinda silly and I hope they explain this because that is just lazy writing. The good far out weights the bad here in this show. Ive noticed in shows that have a group of main characters it is very hard to get them all introduced quick enough for the audience to be happy. This is the case with this show. For people that have never known any of the characters that go with this crew then sure it isn't a big deal. But for those that are fans of the heroes and villains then I can relate to those folks saying things like "what the heck where is so and so." "What the that cant be that character can it?" All in all not an issue for me. Things can be worked on but the key thing is, does it entertain you? Me, Yes it does.

  • Above Average worth a watch

First off its not as bad as some of these 1/10 reviews are making it out to be. Yes the kids whine. However if you made it all the way to the plot twist you made it past the major amount of whining and crying and are on your way to the ending any how. So lets grade it like this. Acting was average. Not like stellar or Oscar worthy or anything but not awful to were you were laughing at what should be serious moments. The effects were great. I like the practical suits and weapons and explosion effects were good. It got loud quickly however so I was playing with the volume a lot. Plot was simple at first and then of course the twist with a double twist. Now over all the movie was good. I wouldn't say i would watch it every day over and over again but it was good for a watch and it kept you engaged and watching it. I was entertained and thats what matters to me when it comes to video ENTERTAINMENT.
