By far the worst of the holiday / seasonal baking shows. I've watched all the seasons. I get through them but there's too much expected of them in too little time so there is awkward fail after awkward fail that just isn't enjoyable to watch. The tacky judges costumes are so annoying. Seems the new season the judges are dressed normally so I'm glad about that.
It's a TV baking show. I am watching it to be wowed. Not to watch people struggle and make a mess.

I saw this when I was a teen in the theater. Bought it on VHS and wore it out. It's ridiculous camp meets dark humor with over the top characters. I've seen it more times than I can count. So many scenes stand out and the dialogue is smart. I used to be able to quote along through most of the movie rewatching it over and over in my 20's.
I hadn't seen it in probably ten years and the scene where where Mary Tyler Moore says "SLOW DOWN THERE'S THE TACO PLACE" came to mind recently, so I bought it on Amazon and watched it again. I still love it as much as I did when it came out.
Mary Tyler Moore and Lily Tomlin are comedy gold rounded out by the other actors who created characters that in my opinion are art house movie perfection.
"They bump you and when you stop, they mutilate you and take your car." Genius.

After reading the reviews I decided to watch it expecting it to be awful and ended up loving it. I can see where folks are coming from with the complaints. When expecting "horror", it is probably a let down... but sitting back and watching it for what it is instead of what I think it should be... I have to admit I was thoroughly entertained.
Sure there's tons of ideas I could spin in my head thinking it would be better if... so why don't I stop complaining and write a move. I just might!
Anyway it never dragged in any places. I never wanted to fast forward and would probably watch it again when in the mood for feel good horror.
PS Wyatt Russell is a DILF.
