Think you maybe need to be of a certain age to really enjoy the film. The days when everything was written long hand on paper. Great locations - I'm a location 'junkie'. Spot on costumes & 50s settings. Mr. William's house reminded me of my Grandparents home. I remember the 'bomb sites' - though I luckily didn't live through the times that created those 'sites' - but spent happy times on such playgrounds. Excellent cast - Bill Nighy was perfect. Yes - a film that I will enjoy re-watching & a film I will recommend to friends. Hope it is enjoyed by many - as it does send a beautiful message. Enjoy.
I watch it 'cos it's colourful & the locations are great. But, Roger looks awkward & slightly embarrassed to be doing it.
Get back to 'Oxford' & soon!

Amazing 3 part series. Covers a great time in music history. If you like mid 60s American music - you'll enjoy this. The opening chords of Mr Tambourine Man sung by the Byrds - still sends shivers down my spine.
