If you are not into art house, you are not likely to like this film. But if you are, or if you are patient and observant, this is a great film.

Dakota Johnson is such a low key, namby pamby actor generally speaking that she is hard to watch. While that light, floating voice works on her mother, Melanie Griffith, it doesn't work in Dakota, but just becomes annowing usually. However in this film, she is nearly perfect and in my opinion, it is her best acting that I've seen.

Paschal and Evans are superb! Subtle and timely delivery of information and emotions reminds us why they are at the top of their game. They were both outstanding.

I really liked the film, although it was not what I expected, I was pleasantly surprised by the deeper examination of relationships, expectations and why we choose who we choose.

Great little, quiet film. I enjoyed it.

I mean really!

War games on steroids! The level of childishness in this film filled with over the top stunts on overdrive, times every possible iteration of insanity.

They took this so far that they just insulted the original series and all the films that Cruise has done with it before. It was just ridiculous. The 20 minute urgency, that went on for 45 min, with long scenes of discussions about what was happening just made it more silly.

No sense even talking about the details. Tom Cruise used this as an opportunity to let us all know that old as he is, he is still an athlete, still looks good naked, and can still run like no other actor in any film ever. That man can RUN!!!

Otherwise, MEH!

Instead of trying to put every stunt in this film that they ever dreamed about, they simply should have put all that time and effort into better writers and a better script without so many holes and absurdities.

Good grief this was bad as are all the movies he makes. The script is always silly. Walhberg cannot act at all. The concept would be workable if they ever found a decent t writer. It is just really, really bad. No sense trying to discect it. Just know it is BAAAAAAAAAAAD, and for no good reason.

If they didn't choose to do silly things, like in crisis, put the worse driver in the family, to drive the car, and on and on, we might not want to throw up as often.

It is just an insult.
