Amazon deemed this worthy enough to announce this series on an email. I read the only other review here and thought the author may have had a grievance against this show, it turns out that he was far to generous in using the word 'garbage'. From the outset it seems like it's a foreign show dubbed into English with those flat sounding unemotive voices, this is supported by the flat emotionless acting(?!). The script is awful as are the sets and cinematography. Sad to say that I couldn't even finish the first episode as the banality was so offensive. I've no idea how the first reviewer managed to sit through 4 episodes; that's just heroic.
From the outset it was obvious this was going to be cheap and shabby, in my defence I was busy doing something else while watching. The plot was ridiculous as was the script; in fact it was awful in just about every way. Just avoid this there is nothing at all to be gained from watching it.
An excellent short, better than most movies I've seen of late. The lead, Simon Merrells. He puts me in mind of Andrew Lincoln 'Rick'TWD, Jurgen Prochnow, Cillian Murphy, and Matt King (Superhans). The story I won't reveal., I found the whole thing reminded me of of 'Moon'. I've seen a few shorts recently, most better than the big films. Production quality was 10/10. Backdrops exceed Bladerunner. Acting was spot on. I'm afraid Hollywood has just become a messy CGI mess.
I'm not sure, but the story line mirrors the plight of North African refugees to Europe, but in no way preachy; Guilt, repentance, and doing the right thing. All in all an enjoyable SF film.
