  • This is the most beautiful movie I've seen in years

The entire movie is beautiful, perfect and authentic. The ending is a combination of beauty and devastating emotion the likes of which I've never felt before. The movie must be seen for this alone.

Paul Mescal is terrific but Jesse Buckley (as it's been written) steals the show.

    And absolute must see!

  • Excellent film! A Must See!

I gave this a rating of 8 which is a little on the high side -a ctually somewhere in the 7.5 range but still my kind of movie. Exciting intriguing with a great ending that included a major plot twist although I had a sneaky suspicion!. I really don't want to give away any of the details of the movie but excellent stuff. Think modern day Three Days of the Condor! Lilly James and Sam Worthington we're both excellent as always.

  • Disappointing to be sure...

If you're going to have a biopic movie about a rock superstar, you should include a fair amount of the artist's music. This movie SHOULD HAVE BEEN a lengthy segment of Bruce performing his music at Stone Pony & arenas. Then they could've been a long exposition of his backstory and resulting mental decline while creating Nebraska. Finally, show him overcoming his struggle with the help of therapy and close with Bruce performing Born in the USA and other material.

Compared to last year's A Complete Unknown there is no comparison. You could say they're just different movies but the truth is Springsteen isn't a true rock biopic. It was a disappointing, kind of drab and boring film. I will say the process of how he made the record Nebraska, was interesting but not enough to save this film.
