This film is a copy/remake of B.R Chopra' s film Dastaan( 1972), starring Dilip Kumar, Shamila Tagore, Prem Chopra, Bindu etc. More interesting is that both movies have common villian Prem Chopra with same role. Infact Dastaan was also a remake of 1951 movie Afsana; which was based on Novel Vndetta :). So better to watch Afsana:). I would give it 5/10. Afsana best Dastaan Better and Do Anjane Good. Acting wise Dastaan is best.

Excellent acting (as always) from the greatest actor ever, Dilip Kumar, Madhubala also performed outstandingly, excellent movie. Music is simply Superb, Sajjad Hussain was a real Gem. Songs like Dil Mein Sama Gaye , Woh toh chalay gaye and Kahan ho Kahan ho, are timeless Classic. And dance performance from Madhubala and Sajjad's background music is mind-blowing. Its a must see film not only for Dilip and Madhubala lovers but also for Excellent movie lovers.In short this film is a full Package, Dilip and Madhubala's acting, Story, Music, Songs, Dialogues,everything is simply Superb.
