I understand they spent too much screen time on the warders story but it was necessary. The reason I say this is in the books they tell what happens to Warders when their charge dies. It's a horrible experience that is described with words in the books but in a live action show they had to find a way to show it. The reason I say this is because now that the audience understands how bad it is they can understand the impact when this happens to others later in the story.
The show is not bad so much as just a super slow pace. I feel like they could have made the show like a 10 hour limited series and picked up the whole pace of the show instead of making everything move so slow and methodical. I'd give it an 8 if they had squeezed all the story from both seasons along with an ending into those 10 hours.
Why is everyone so freaked out over fighting Zombies at like year 9 of this going on. I mean 6 people, even Doc stand around with one Zombie and let someone get bit. Was it just so they could say that one line. "Every living thing has it's place and purpose." I really dislike when shows make people act stupid and/or out of character just to force story or agenda.
