With a near-perfect 9/10 rating, Lucky Bhaskar is a deeply human and oddly uplifting financial crime drama that hooks you from the start and refuses to let go. Dulquer Salmaan shines as Baskhar, a relatable middle-class man drowning in debt who resorts to financial trickery-not out of greed, but desperation and love for his family. His journey-from awkward bank employee to confident scammer-unfolds with both charm and consequence, capturing the emotional highs and crushing lows of ambition. As one Reddit fan put it:
"Every time he wins, it's like I'm winning too," The film's nostalgic Bombay backdrop, tight screenplay, and fourth-wall-breaking narration make each twist feel earned. Its emotional beats-like the humiliation Baskhar endures-hit home: "The way he feels humiliated and cries... was exceptionally well translated by Dulquer." Though a few moments lean toward melodrama and pacing dips in the second half, the balance of laughter, tension, and genuine empathy keeps you fully invested. Lucky Bhaskar isn't just a thriller-it's a portrait of human resilience, the lure of easy money, and the bittersweet tug between family duty and personal ambition.

Deva is an electrifying performance-driven thriller with standout cinematography and action, held back by a meandering script and underwhelming side plots.
Acting & texture: A solid 8, especially for Shahid Kapoor's commitment and Roy's visuals.
Story & pacing: More like a 6-moments of strong tension hover next to scenes that overstay their welcome.
Supporting cast:Though capable, characters often feel like set pieces rather than integral players.
Overall: 7/10 Worth a watch, especially for fans of Shahid or brooding cop thrillers. Just don't come expecting a tightly wound pulse-pounding mystery every second. Think of it more as a journey through its strengths than a sprint to resolution.

Season 2 is the worst. Regretted watching it and comedy was lame and poorly written story. Season 1 was far more better. It could have been better.
