I'm having a kiddo.  What movies should I force him to watch?  I REALLY need to add more movies to this.

Movies on this list are not what I would always recommend to others as "good" (some are), but they're ones that I think punch WAY above their weight for me _personally_.  One hallmark of this is that my rating is 8 or higher and the typical IMDB rating is 2 or more points below my rating (with some wiggle room for my discretion).  But another hallmark is that I'm just drawn to rewatching the movie.  Some that fall in the first category (like Primer) don't make the second.  Usually some campiness or low budget vibe or cult nature is required - or maybe it's just a "chick flick" or some genre that most people wouldn't think I'd watch... something to make the pleasure of rewatching it "Guilty".

I worked at NASA and SpaceX. These are movies and shows that inspire or remind me of the work we've done there.

For indescribable reasons, these movies go together.  Often horror, definitely some love/hate cultish vibes.  But whatever I decide to put here goes!
