Awesome film! The youngsters definitely brought it all together adding life and quirkiness to the movie. I loved the portrayal of Jo challenging the gender roles and equality. Saoirse and Timothee were great together!!!

I'm so glad they made the main character a blue cattle dog a girl. Having a girl blue cattle dog myself she always gets misgendered as a boy - it's something to do with gender colours, which I think is soooo silly. I'm not fussed she gets misgendered bc after all she is just a dog. Just blows my mind how people associate blue with being a boy, and this show would be breaking down these gender associations.

I am absolutely shocked this movie only has a 5.8/10 rating. This movie is absolutely beautiful, should be more known. I tried for about a year to read the book but could never find the time, glad I didn't wait to finish the book before watching the movie.
