Stopping a sociopathic crazy guy from ruling the world is just a small distraction for the principals in this series.
Their sex drives and personal relations are what matters, and working as CIA operatives to thwart some silly bad guy just sort of has to be dealt with. "Darn, do we have to deal with that life-threatening situation again? I was just about to get it on with my co-agent!"
If you want lots of emoting about past mistakes, lots of awkward sexual attractions and lots of blood and dead bodies, this will thrill you.
And a second season? Hard to believe there's any more interpersonal relations left for this crew, but I guess I just lack the writing team's imagination.
