OMG! Not more Hollywood garbage? What?no superheroes? Oh, let's give it a low rating. Or instead appreciate this well told story set against an amazing landscape. Kudos to everyone involved in creating this masterpiece. Bleak, dark, depressing --- you know everything that makes for a truly great film! Reminds me of so much that was out in the 70's and 80's.
Dear Acorn the sound you are hearing is the sound of me cancelling my Acorn subscription. Your bait and switch move on this painfully mediocre "mystery" (non-mystery) series is beyond description. This shallow, underdeveloped nonsense barely deserved the episodes it got and you drag it to a second season! Shame on you. Not one single character of any real interest. Muddled plotting - I've finished series 1 and don't know who half the characters are since they come and go at random.
Showing on Acorn TV as Boglands: Entertaining. Just the right number of episodes. Yep a few red herrings and maybe a tad silly in places but overall it held our attention and looked forward to each new episode. Actually enjoyed the Gaelic dialogue with English subtitles. Not a masterpiece but holds its own against most of what else is out there.
