I honestly don't know WHY this happens so much nowadays...
Seasons 1 and 2: very good
Season 3: wait what?
Season 4: "Oh, I know! Let's do everyting in defiance to logic and common sense! Let's also mess up the basic as we go! Let's completely ruin the image that seasons 1 and 2 built along the years!"
Season 5: don't know, don't care...
Think about the most obvious thing to happen in any situation... There, now you know what simply doesn't happen in season 4. They have stripped every single character of basic decision making and their own survival instincts.
Solutions to problems gave way to bad improv "just to see what happens"
And some scenes are so absurd that it's like the characters have no eyes, no ears, no nose, nothing.

Well...
Just finished M3GAN and... yeah, that was a waste of time.
The premise had potential, but the movie doesn't do anything new. It leans on clichés, predictable setups, and characters making dumb decisions just to keep the plot limping forward. The whole AI doll concept could've been creepy or clever, but instead it feels like someone stretched a mildly amusing idea into a full-length movie with no real payoff.
And can we talk about Gemma? She's supposed to be this brilliant roboticist, but half the time she comes off more robotic than the actual robot. Same blank expression, same monotone delivery - I kept waiting for someone to reboot her. At least M3GAN had some personality.
I was kind of into it at the beginning - the setup teased something fun - but after the halfway point, it just dragged. No tension, no surprises, just me realizing I could've been doing literally anything else.
The adults here are smart enough to build a self-learning AI, but somehow forget about, you know, basic ethics, parenting, and common sense. But sure, let's just ship it to market.

** The good **
Impressive graphics in some of the episodes. That's about it, in my opinion.
** The bad **
It's like they enjoyed the hype from the first seasons and just went with whatever.
I could sense a very strong obsession with cats and religion? I don't know why, or what that even accomplished here.
Very abundant usage of clichés such as "secretly smart and skilled cats" and "aliens arrive and punish mankind for not respecting nature"...
There was one episode I couldn't even finish, I think it had something to do with home appliances... It was a combination of bland, empty, senseless, lame, not-at-all innovative mini-episodes. It felt like they got those ideas from high-school students.
In conclusion, not only was I not entertained, but also annoyed. The last season made me change my approval of this series to "I disliked this".
Way to bury a potentially successful series...
