Kudos to the host June Squibb, she does a great job, and for a 96 year old woman she does not look a day over 70. Much like Grandma Moses, she is an inspiration to us all.
Its hard to understand the low IMDB ratings. Maybe most of the low ratings are from Killer Grannies who don't want to be identified. This is a suspenseful crime show that shines a much needed spot-light on a criminal element who often evades justice. Its important to remember, for every Killer Granny who is Arrested and Prosecuted, there are probably over 100 lurking in the shadows planning their next caper. Beware!

According to Webster's Dictionary a Useful Idiot is:
"a naive or credulous person who can be manipulated or exploited to advance a cause or political agenda"
Dean certainly fit the bill and provides a sad real life example of what happens when people of limited talent and ability delude themselves into believing they are destined for greatness. There doesn't appear to be much evidence of a conspiracy or intrigue, only the tragic end for a man at the end of his career and life. Perhaps instead of trying to portray Dean as an Idealist, it would have been a better Documentary if he had be more accurately depicted as a Narcissist who continued to put his quest for fame above his friends, family, and country.
I liked the ending of Gavin and Stacey very much. It was a very realistic ending to a relationship the viewer has had with this cast for over 17 Years. Life and relationships become less of comedy over time, whether the young chose to accept reality or not. The Stag Party was one of many poignant reminders in the episode that you can never go back in time, and the well adjusted would ask "Why you you want to?"
Smithy and Nessa have moved beyond the fantasy and expectations phase of their life into making the best of the time they have left. This is reality, this is life, although is still hard not to reflect on the fleeting nature of youth and how time passes on....
