For hard core completists only. "Bad" is not a strong enough term. Dull, ham-fisted, tedious. Not entertaining and no fun. It's just awful, honestly. It's a chore slogging through this movie hoping that it gets better at some point. It doesn't. The characters are not likable and the dialog is dreadful.
Horrible. Badly shot, poorly written, the casting is a nightmare. It's as if they set out to make a stinker of a movie.
How do movies this bad get produced? Is it an accounting scam, like "fine art"? Find some film geeks, have them write and storyboard a script... It's not impossible to accomplish.
I wonder about the crew who assembled this movie. Realizing they were trying to create something without a foundation. What a waste of talent.
The casting of the archeologist's daughter and her three Valley Girl friends is especially excruciating. Like a neon sign telling the unfortunate viewer that no genuine effort was put into this debacle. It's like being served a meal that isn't cooked.
This is the kind of movie you cannot sit through without thinking how easily it could be improved.
