The movie is filled with all the usual cheesiness one has to expect from a reignited franchise pandering to family audiences. Corny jokes, giant plot holes, and cringe worthy acting. It jump the shark a little towards the end but what movie in the genre doesn't. Overall, though, the movie remains interesting enough to stay entertaining and stops you from turning it off.
The movie seems to acknowledge stray it has several plot holes, and takes a step back to acknowledge these. Why has an ancient Sumerian temple appeared in rural USA? Who knows, but at least they acknowledge it. I was also a little impressed with neurodivergence being portrayed in lead character, Phoebe. Several times, whether in a hug, a joke, or other interaction we see Phoebe react in ways that we wouldn't typically see, and it works well. "Overstimulation calms me Down".

If you think people are joking, they're not. This movie is so atrociously awful it's almost funny. The acting, the filming & editing, the screenplay and dialogue: it's all absolutely crap.
I'd say it's a saving grace for the film, but I still don't think it's enough to warrant *anyone* seeing it: the actual story behind everything is somewhat interesting. The conspiracy theory of the private military agency and everything they're doing *could* have been done really well, but unfortunately the poor cinematography, acting, and dialogue just make this a horrible, horrible movie.
There isn't a single scene in this movie worth watching.
