  • Not for everyone

"Tom Swift" is a good show, but it pushes the gay agenda harder than anything else I've seen on network TV. That includes "Supergirl" and "Grey's Anatomy." Straight people have been completely excluded from this gay fantasy world.

  • Not a bad movie

Most people would give this movie a 6-7. I gave it a 10 to offset the ridiculous people who gave it a 1. No, it's not the traditional story line. Yes, it has been reimagined to accelerate the story. We should watch Errol Flynn's "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (1938)? How old are you?

  • Ignore the bad reviews

Yes, this is a low-budget movie, but it hardly deserves a 1/10. An honest rating would be 6 or 7. If you enjoy action movies and girl power, it's worth seeing.

  • Good story

If you can get past the made-for-TV quality of this movie, it has a good love story. Sadly, during the "Chinese massacre of 1871," an estimated 17-20 Chinese immigrants were hanged in Los Angeles by an angry mob of 500 people.

  • Both Sides Now

The two "gangs" in this movie were the Punks and Preps. If you go back to West Side Story, it would be the Jets and Sharks. Unlike most people, I won't tell you the Punks were more noble by virtue of being outsiders. Honestly, the Punks were annoying jerks and the Preps were arrogant jerks. Both sides had good and bad people, but one side went too far. It could easily have been the other side. There is still a strong message about accepting diversity. Nothing captured the emotion of the story better than watching the parents during the trial and aftermath. Great story with great intensity.

  • Fun romantic comedy

This is a fun romantic comedy/musical. The negative reviews insist the film is average (false), boring (false), poorly directed (false), the worst movie ever (not even close), not a rom-com (false), only mimics Bollywood (fair enough), and inaccurately portrays India (what do you expect from Hollywood?). You can let these hateful people suck the joy out of your life - or you can enjoy the movie.
