Dana keeps getting pulled from present day to the past which she has no control over and it is always to save a young boy who she comes to realise is somehow part of her heritage and it's therefore crucial that he survive. She then comes to realise to get back to her present day, she has to be in fear of her life for that to happen. However time is different in the present and the past and what can be as little as an hour in present day sees her spending about a week in the past. I have just binged this series and it was brilliant but I can't believe that there is not going to be a season 2, especially at where season 1 was left at. It was so good that I'm now going to buy the book to find out where the story goes from here. Please somebody make a season 2. This is such a great story and so well depicted by the actors. For anyone like me who just has to know what comes next is written butler.
This is my first review. Sometimes I think the reviews are little harsh but in this case they are pretty spot on. This is a really really poor movie. Don't waste this 2 hours of your life
