From the get-go, it feels like I skipped season 1 and then meshed random scenes from season 2.
The show starts, and you are already in the middle of the story, you have dream sequences, murder mysteries, flashbacks, history, magic, science, demons, technology, gods, otherworlds and secret organizations. You have all these ideas fighting for attention inside 30-minute episodes that waste too much time flexing fancy graphics...
Characters just come and go like plot devices, with next to zero character development, the world building is interesting but also chaotic..
You need outside information to make sense of this show if that's your thing, good for you, it gives me anxiety...
4/10. Purely for the graphics.

It's not boring or critically annoying, but it's not that good either.....
I like logic and consistency in my entertainment, and this show is rather illogical and inconsistent, not that much but enough to be noticed.....
At this point, I'm tired of romance in anime that does not lead to a romantic relationship, you have characters ogling each other for 12 episodes and in the end there's nothing...
The plot is overly basic and mostly childish, a lot of time is wasted on rubbish, they should have made a movie instead.
The graphics are good, but I really didn't like the hair in the face gimmick.

From the get go this show is so poorly written. While the premise is really interesting, the writing really is disappointing, resulting in a very predictable and immersion breaking senseless story.
The lead actress is boring, Anna Torv was not the right person for a show like this, she lacks the range and it gets worse as the story progresses and the rest of the characters are one note and feel more like plot devices than people.
The lack of chemistry between Olivia Dunham and Peter Bishop is beyond cringe and their romantic relationship is uninspiring.
As a procedural cop show its alright to a point I guess, but the moment you add up the sci-fi part of the show, it all falls apart under the senseless world building and inconsistent internal logic, it got so bad that I stopped watching 5 episodes before the end of season 4.
