It's an interesting show and the acting is quite good, except for Brooke Satchwell. Her acting is flat and boring and she spoils an otherwise great show.
Just watch and enjoy the original again.

This is one of those movies that is A LOT more fun to watch without knowing anything about it. Just watching everything unfold was very satisfying and by the end I felt creeped out and entertained.
